As a renter you are self-employed, so this set-aside needs to cover income tax and self-employment tax (15.3% on about 92% of your profit, so about 14% overall, and the Social Security part stops at a yearly earnings cap; confirm with your tax pro). Take-home is after product and card fees on each sale, minus this day's share of your rent and fixed costs (weekly rent and costs spread over the days you usually work). Before income tax.

Weeks start Monday. Take-home is after rent, product, card fees, software and other costs. Rent covered shows how much of that week's rent and costs your profit after product and fees paid for. Partial first and last weeks are marked.

Averages per day worked. Chair hours per day: your edits on the Day tab first, then your usual hours per weekday (Import & costs), then your weekly hours split across weekdays by how long you are usually in the chair that day (first start to last finish). Take-home is after product and card fees, minus each day's share of rent and fixed costs (spread over the days you usually work, same as the Day tab). First seen in this file = the client's first visit in your export, counted only after the first 90 days of the file (or two of that client's usual gaps, if longer) so long-time regulars are not counted as new. It is hidden from the tips when your file covers less than 6 months. Rebook rate = visits where the client came back later. A visit only counts once 1.5 times that client's usual gap has passed by the end of your file (or the usual gap for that service, or 60 days), so 10 to 16 week color clients are not marked as lost before they are due.

Average clients in the chair during each hour, per day worked, from each appointment's start time and length. 1.0 = someone in the chair the whole hour on that weekday, every week. More than 1 means overlapping clients (processing time). Gold = busier.

Each cell is one date, weeks run Monday to Sunday.

Gold = higher. Red = a day that lost money after its share of rent and fixed costs. Empty cells are days you did not work. Outlined cells are days where you edited your hours. The Avg row is the average of the days you worked.

Rent day is the day your profit after product and fees covered that month's rent, software and other costs. Partial first and last months are marked.

The 12-month pace uses your weekly averages times 52. Tax set-aside uses your Tax set-aside % from Import & costs. Estimates only, not tax advice.
