Terms of service
Tangled LLC. The account is the read. These terms start when the month is paid.
By paying for Tangled Analytics and agreeing on the account page, the salon owner and Tangled LLC make this agreement. Tangled LLC is the company that provides Tangled Analytics, built and run by salon owners. The service is the account at tangleddata.com.
The service
The account reads a checkout file and the hours the owner sends, or hours typed by hand. It shows the week: the weak hour, who was on the floor, the menu check, profit after wages, and revenue per labor hour. It does not book the chair, take the card, run payroll, file a tax return, or replace the booking software.
The owner does not receive the code. The month pays for the account, not a copy of the tool.
The month
New accounts get a 7-day free trial, no card needed. After the trial, the Growth Plan is $59 a month, collected by Stripe. The owner may cancel any time from the Stripe billing portal. A month already paid is not refunded. Access lasts through the paid month (or through the trial). If payment fails after the trial, the account can close until the month is paid again.
The files
The owner keeps the client list. Tangled does not sell it, and does not use a salon's guests to market to another salon. Files are used to build that salon's read and to keep the archive for that account. The owner may ask for the archive to be deleted. Deletion removes the stored read. It does not delete the export still sitting in the booking software.
The owner is responsible for having the right to upload the file, and for sending the correct export. A wrong file makes a wrong week.
What the numbers are
The read is a calculation from the file and the hours. It is not an audit, a legal opinion, or payroll advice. Staffing and price decisions stay with the owner. Tangled is not liable for wages paid, a slow week, or a decision made from the page.
The account
One salon, one login. The owner does not share the password, and does not upload another shop's file into the account. Tangled may suspend an account that is used to break into another salon, to copy the code, or to send files the owner has no right to send.
Automated access to the account or sign-in — including bots or scrapers — to copy, reverse-engineer, or rebuild the tool is not allowed.
AI
Tangled may use AI tools when building or improving the service, the site, or support. What Tangled delivers as the product is reviewed by people at Tangled LLC and stays Tangled's work. AI does not replace Tangled's responsibility for the account the owner pays for.
The owner gets a license to use the account for their salon. That license is not ownership of Tangled's software, site pages, guides, branding, or other copyrighted materials. Uploading those materials into an AI tool to edit them, make a derivative, or train a model is outside that license, unless Tangled has said otherwise in writing.
The owner's own salon files stay theirs, under The files. These AI lines do not stop the owner from using their own numbers with other tools they have a right to use. They do stop using Tangled's copyrighted materials as AI training or rewrite fuel without permission.
Changes
Tangled may update these terms. The next payment after a change is agreement to the terms then on this page. The current page is the agreement.
The whole agreement
This page, the Stripe receipt, and the account are the agreement. If a line here conflicts with the receipt, the receipt controls the amount and the date paid. Questions go to Tangled LLC, through the Contact page.
